ASAP Cheques' Community Involvement

ASAP Cheques has a mandate to be an active member of the community, in particular helping the disadvantaged. We applaud the work of volunteers and organizations, and encourage our staff to look for opportunities to get involved.

• Ongoing participation with local food bank and Salvation Army.

• A new venture called Harvest Aid is in the works to address several areas, including raising funds for local needs, and providing training and employment opportunities for the disadvantaged.

• Percentage of U.S. sales to Red Cross for assistance with World Trade Center relief efforts.

• First annual Hotdog BBQ held in April 2005 with proceeds going to the Salvation Army

• Staff members participated in April 2005 in Pitch-In Canada day in an effort to help keep our community sidewalks free of litter
